Personality:
Presea is a quiet woman. She used to be much more cheerful and open, but due to personality suppressing jewel known as an 'exsphere' that left her in a near robotic state for 16 years, she tends to be an rather unexpressive individual, rarely roused from a state of reserved calm. She speaks when spoken too, doesn't often pipe up with her opinion, and is quite uninvolved with the group's decisions, preferring to follow. The main cause of her withdrawn nature is the deep and lasting damage on her pysch the death of her entire family and the 16 years she lost caused. This has left a deep and lasting impact on her psyche. She dwells on the time she has lost, and believes herself alone, holding herself separate from others.
While she is wrapped up in her own issues, she does take an interest in others when it's important, even showing she still has an emotional range on rare occasions when something touches her emotions. Her smiles are equally rare as her screams, but when the occasion calls for it she displays both readily. Her silent calm hides depths of personality: A gentle kindness, a caring for the group who she has no hesitation in fighting and putting her life on the line for, the sorrow of lost time and lost family with a deep wish to prevent others from suffering the same fate, quiet sensibility and maturity, loneliness, bitterness and a berserker anger that rarely rears it's head but is both terrifying and lethal.
All while rarely changing her expression, or responding to things without ellipsis.
While her appearance is that of a cute pink haired 12 year old, her vocabulary and maturity is that of a 28 year old, and her speech is blunt, driving right to the heart of matters without regards to basic etiquette or delicate sensibilities. This makes the rare conversation with her... Slightly odd. She has no idea most of the time that her behaviour is impolite, nor does she know much about other matters of manners, only noticing her own awkwardness when others point it out to her.

History:
Presea lived in a small town known as Ozette with her father Sieg, and her younger sister Alicia. Her father was a lumberjack, but he had grown sick and was unable to work. Presea attempted to take over his job, but wasn't strong enough and did not earn enough money to care for them all. She wanted to be strong enough to be equal to her father, and so when a creepy man told her she could find that strength with an exsphere, she agreed to become an experimental subject, unaware of the dramatic impact it would have on her. Meanwhile, her sister Alicia left to work at a nobleman's house to help support them.
The experiment was a success, and equipped with an exsphere she gained the strength to work and support them, but it suppressed her emotions and personality. She became like a robot, her personality, emotions and awareness of the world suppressed to the point where she was barely functioning, but she remained determined to do her job and care for her sick father. While she was like this, her father died, and she didn't notice, nor did she notice her house had grown barren and broken. She continued to treat it as though everything was the same. Without aging, she remained like this for 16 years, thoroughly creeping out all the other villagers.
She was sent to escort the main party through the forests of Ozette, and they decided to help fix her state. When they succeeded by equipping her with a key crest, she awoke from her stupor to find her father dead and rotting, and then discovered just after burying him that one of the men of the party, called Regal, had killed her sister (who, incidentally, he was dating) because she had become a monster due to the conniving actions of one of his servants.
She was extremely upset and angry, but was calmed down when Regal explained that he would allow her to kill him, after he fulfilled his oath to help other exsphere victims and atone for his sin by helping the main party. Presea decided to also accompany the party, because she didn't want to see anyone else end up like Alicia, and to see with her own eyes whether he would accomplish his goal and redeem himself of her sister's death.
After that, she takes a background role, as befits her personality, helping the party save the world and adjusting to a very different life.
Strengths:
Presea is an enormously strong and capable warrior despite her size due to the exsphere she is equipped with, and wields a giant axe in battle. She has no problems dragging full grown men around. Emotionally, just like physically, she is stable and strong, not one to be knocked around by the events that occur. She treats most situations with a maturity beyond even her true mental age, is calm in the face of danger and despair, and very hard to disturb from that state. She shows a deep understanding of the true importance of things.
Weaknesses:
She doesn't have any magic, and isn't very face on the attack. Emotionally, she struggles to form attachments and doesn't involve herself easily with others. She dwells heavily on the past and the time she lost, and is constricted by feelings of feeling completely alone in the world. When something causes her to grow angry, she loses a lot of perspective, and that is not something you want with an super strong axe-wielding warrior.
